South Florida SPCA
South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a rescue organization located in Miami Dade County. They rehabilitate horses and other livestock and safely rehome them across the country.

The goal of this project was to redesign their website and to better communicate the organization’s qualities in order to increase adoption rates and donations. We also wanted to improve the user navigation and interaction with the website.
An Inviting and Welcoming New Website
Iconova Design focused on designing and developing a website that was not only functional, but also inviting and welcoming. We chose soft, soothing colors to evoke the natural beauty of South Florida, while also using earthy tones to make visitors feel at ease. We also added pops of brighter colors to highlight key elements of the website and add a playful touch.
To ensure that visitors could easily find the information they needed, we designed a user-friendly navigation menu. We created an “Adopt” section with profiles of all the animals that needed homes, complete with photos and adorable personality descriptions.
Donation Page Accessibility
Of course, we couldn’t forget about the importance of donations. To encourage people to support the South Florida SPCA, we prominently featured a “Donate” button on the website. The donation page was designed to be straightforward and user-friendly so that visitors could quickly and easily make a contribution.
Increase in Adoptions and Donations
Since the launch of the new website, the South Florida SPCA has seen an increase in adoptions and donations. We’re incredibly proud of the work we did, alongside Softshell Design, for the South Florida SPCA. We believe that the new website perfectly captures the organization’s warmth and passion, while also providing visitors with all the tools they need to get involved and make a difference in the lives of animals.
In addition to redesigning the South Florida SPCA’s website, we also designed a comprehensive social media style guide to help them maintain a consistent brand image across all their social media channels.
