We partnered with Suz McFadden Photo to give her website a fresh new look. Suz provides a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for her clients to truly be themselves, and she wanted her online presence to reflect that same bright and happy experience. Our goal was to create a site that felt safe, confident, luxurious, stylish, and inviting—a true reflection of Suz’s brand.
Bringing Suz’s Vision to Life
Iconova Design collaborated with Suz to define a visual style that complemented both her brand identity and her photography. The color palette—light cream, gray, burgundy, and black—was chosen to create neutral backgrounds that let her images stand out. Teal was added as an accent color for calls to action. For typography, we selected a friendly yet confident serif font for headings, paired with a welcoming sans-serif for body text.
A Design Built to Highlight Photography
To highlight Suz’s work, we structured the site with full-width colored sections and generous white space, keeping the focus on her photography. Large headings reinforced her brand’s confident yet welcoming tone. Since Suz was already familiar with Wix, we built the site on Wix Studio, ensuring a smooth transition while making the site fully responsive. We also created a library of reusable design elements, allowing her to update or add new pages with ease.
Supporting Long-Term Success
Responsiveness was a top priority, so we meticulously optimized each screen size within Wix Studio for a pixel-perfect experience. We also provided Suz with a style guide to maintain the new visual language and a training session to walk her through adding and editing content on Wix Studio. Now, she has a website that aligns with her vision and is easy for her to maintain. We’re so happy with the result and excited for Suz McFadden Photo!
