Known for its vibrant culture, deep inventory, and loyal fanbase, TATE’s Comics needed a WordPress website that reflected its personality and scale. A place where both longtime customers and new visitors could easily explore what makes TATE’s special.

Creating a Visual Brand That Fits the Industry
At Iconova Design, we created a visual style that captured TATE’s Comics’ bold, high-energy personality while giving it a clean, modern structure. The layout is dynamic, with overlapping elements that bring in the movement and layered feel of action comics. We incorporated custom illustrations commissioned by TATE’s Comics, along with torn paper edges that add a playful, handmade touch. A bold typeface paired with a primary color palette keeps the site rooted in comic book culture while still feeling fresh.

Designing for Scale and Usability
This is a large website, with over 25 pages and hundreds of blog posts, so structure and usability were a big focus. Iconova Design built the site on WordPress, implementing reusable design blocks that helped maintain consistency and made future updates easier to manage. The goal was to give users a straightforward and intuitive experience, whether they were browsing blog content, learning about store events, or diving into one of the many community initiatives.
To make the more content-heavy pages easier to navigate, we introduced a three-column layout. This format allowed for key highlights on the left and right, helping readers stay focused and giving the design more breathing room.

A WordPress Website That Works Everywhere
The site was designed to be fully responsive and easy to use on all devices, ensuring a clear and consistent experience whether on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
We’re proud of how it turned out and glad to have helped bring this next chapter of TATE’s Comics’ digital presence to life.
